This top one of Geoff and our fish and chip lunch was taken outside the pub on St Agnes which is my favourite island. The island in the far background is the main island of St Mary's.

This one I took in a little shop on St Martins. It was lunch time so there was no assistant there so I took a picture. I do have another one with the frame in focus but chose this one with me in focus and ran the fractililus filter over the out of focus frame. Since you guys havn't
been on BP in a while you may not as yet have come across it. Val I know you will be wanting it now you have seen it. NOT!!

This was taken during a Force 7 gale. Normally that water behind is as calm as a mill pond. Doesn't look too bad here though but Geoff's pants are billowing.

I'll be lucky to pronounce fractillious filter. now you have to explain what it is. an attachment to the camera? a folter in photoshop? cute photo
You are right it is a filter which I have put into photoshop - they call it a plug in. Some you can get for free and some you buy. But it does not come with PS - you plug it in. Not literally though you just have to put the file in the right place within PS.
I am really enjoying all these Scilly island pix! How fun! Quite the wind!
what does that filter do?
It kind of follows natural lines in things and makes them more pronounced. It has all sorts of variations to it and you can adjust in so many ways. Like the lines can be white or black. If you happen on something you like you can save it to use somewhere else. I must show you some lily pads I have done recently which really look better I think than the original.
