Self Portrait with Roses

Are you gals working on your self portraits, LOL! Here's a layered one. I actually did even more with this, which I may share--later. Here's one of them with a detail.

Hi Ladies,

I'm not sure if this will work--I am testing it to see if it does. This is a self portrait I did. I first did it in Photoshop with two photos layered over one another and then copied it into a Moleskine. Dot by dot, pixel by pixel. I'm not very accurate, so it doesn't really look like me--too bad, LOL! I'd like to be younger and prettier than I am, LOL!

I sent this from the "share" portion of google docs, a free document program from google. But you can't click on it to see it larger, and part of it seems to be cut off. Oh well, I was trying to find an easier way for those of you having problems. But this is clearly not it.

Sorry, I accidentally sent this to themes and meant to send it to FFT! So here it is again now in FFT; I deleted it from themes. I hope I haven't already posted this!

Tahquamenon

Keith took this of me at Tahquamenon--where we met six years ago--we revisted many of the places important to us when we first met. A sort of "honeymoon" remembrance trip.

New year's Eve

On New year's eve, we took a walk from Sara's where we had gathered to visit. Keith took this picture of Sara, me, and Erin at ESF where all of us graduated from college. I will post more later. :-) I'm going out for a walk first! (Click image to view larger.)
