BLUEBELLS

Didn't fit into anything in Themes but I wanted to share the bluebells.

DUCKLINGS IN PODS WOOD

We took the grandchildren to see the ducklings on Easter Sunday when we had all the family over. I didn't take these pictures then. I went back with my 70-300 lens on a bit brighter day. I should try to get back again when it is even brighter as I need all the light I can get. The one with the duck drake and two yellow ducklings is a combo of 3 pics. Trouble being that I didn't have enough light to get them all in focus in one shot. I needed my widest aperture to get anything. There are trees all around the pond which makes it dark and most of these are on full 300 zoom so I need at least 400th sec to stop camera shake. I did up the ISO to 320 but I don't like the grain if I take it much further.
