A Plate of Oranges

A Plate of Oranges, by Mary Stebbins Taitt, watercolor, water color pencils. water color resist crayon, pastels. This is a new version of a water color painting I did last April from an exercise in a painting magazine. (The instructor's version was better.)

Very nice. Some look more like lemons. I like the colour of the plate. Did you manage to match the colour in the magazine?

Thanks.

The magazine one was so much better!

But I am just a beginner and this is pretty good for me.

I didn't really match the color exactly, or the highlights.
