Farm by Moonlight

Farm by Moonlight, by Mary Stebbins Taitt, a digital Smudge painting
from a photo, intentially "primitive." For theme, silhouette.

I like it very much even though it looks more like a graveyard than a farm. In fact if that big flower was not there in front of the middle grave it would be even better as a graveyard. It has a nice flow to it!

Have to agree - Graveyard - I like it too - the colours - went to see the film "Seraphine" last night Mary about the french artist 'naive' painter Seraphine de Senlis (1964-1942) can recommend, her inspiration came from hugging, listening and watching - very intense. Ahead of her time - beautiful use of vibrant colour.

It absolutely DOES look like a graveyard--I'd noticed that myself--the original picture was of a farm.

I can take it in two directions--make it more like a graveyard or more like a far.

That movie sounds good!. I hope I have an opportunity to see it!

I vote "more like a graveyard" Other than that you could turn the graves into cows!

They were supposed to be silos on a barn.

If I had lots of time, I'd like to make it go two ways--into a graveyard more and into a farm.
