Self Portrait with Roses
Are you gals working on your self portraits, LOL! Here's a layered one. I actually did even more with this, which I may share--later. Here's one of them with a detail.

Oh whoops!! Must get on with that!!
it's you - no way would my sp look anything like this but yes this reminds me of you - or rather what I know of you so far.
Not sure if we are meant to be critical of pics on here as opposed to Themes where we should really be trying but I'm not keen on the composition. I like the concept but I don't like the unbalanced space top right. Don't have any suggestions though unless you completely change the idea of only showing half you face.
I actually considered that but didn't know how to fix it.
There's not a LOT on the bottom left, but at least there is soemthing. I was considering it a diagonal composition.
OK that works for me now! I always forget my diagonals!
Thanks, dunno if it works or not.
Back to the drawing board?
Did you click the link and see what else I did with it--and I've also done some other stuff. I will keep your comments in mind as I work.
Well, the detail was just that--to show the detail because I was thinking you couldn't see it in the online version. It wasn't meant to stand alone. The wind is the effect I applied to the checkerboard which was actually a brick pattern in a wall. I do lay awake imagining various art projects.
oH I see the wind! (girls the checkerboard wind is on the pic following the link under the picture) incase you think we've gone completely mad!
You can see the wind really well on the strands of hair.
