messing about

this isn't a great picture to begin with, but I wanted to do soemthing
with it and was disgruntled with the skylight. (I didn't like the
reflected blue white on the leaves). I should have shot it over with
a skylight filter or a uv filter or a polarizing filter. Instead, I
just dorked around with it on photoshop. I think I'd better start
over. The first is the original. LOL!

I see what you mean about the first one. But I'm not sure about a skylight filter, isn't that just a plain one like you use just to protect your lens? At least I think that's what mine is.
I don't like the bluey one which doesn't look at all natural. The red one is the best. Do you know what I like most about it - it is that light shining through in the gap on the r/h side. It makes me wonder what you would see if you peeped through it. Well I just thought I'd have a go and see if I could make it look more natural so, if you don't mind, I will add another one above yours and see what you think.

No the blue one does NOT look natural--yours looks MUCH better! I seemed to be at a loss as to how to rescue it.

The skylight filter actually reduces that blue skylight reflection to some extent, though many of them are pretty weak.
