Hi there,
Thanks for inviting me to join you - I'm looking forward to seeing everyones photos and getting to know you all. I'm new to doing this sort of thing so it may take me a while to get things right, especially getting the photos on screen.
Oh dear, adding these photos seemed to take ages, there must be an easier way. These are photos I took when Kate and I decided to make a trip to Woodbridge to take some photos.
It's time for lunch I think - I'll see what happens when I post this.
Gina.

Welcome! very pretty pictures here, nicely composed. Makes me wish to see what you saw--in person--so nice.
I email my pix, which is easier than uploading them, I think.
Hi Gina. Yes they're lovely pictures I like the ripply trickle of water running through the mud leading the the boats. I especially like your weird wood which you took while I was busy chatting to someone and eating marsh samphire which was so salty it made me thirsty.
Yes as Mary says you can email them. I do have an email address for that but that may just be for me will find out about it and let you know.
But I think they took so long for you as they seem to be pretty big as when I click on them to open up I cannot see the whole of the pic in one go and have to keep scrolling. Everybody seems to have their own favourite size but what works for me is to keep the Resolution at 300 and reduce the pixels to 500 on the shortest edge. I usually keep to Mary's golden rule of only reducing the size from a PSD file not a JPG, but especially so if it is for a competition.
If you want to email them, go to settings, email and add make up an address for yourself for this blog, it's easy and will hopefully only take a moment. And your email may automatically resize the pix, but if not, 500-600 on a side is optimum of most computer viewing.
And yes, resize in Photoshop on a lossless file. (not a jpeg!)
Hello Gina and welcome - I am the other newbee = I too am struggling with the art of blogging, I have to say you made a more impressive beginning than me - my pic of Oscar looks very large and I did not introduce myself etc. Fingers crossed the girls are patient.
Welcome to both of you, I think you'll enjoy this. DOn't worry, we're all patient--remember--we went through this, too!
