lighting the marshmallows

Nathaniel turned three! The family has a tradition of burning marshmallows instead of candles. Neil is Keith's son, who's just back from Iraq and leaving again shortly for more training in Texas. The bird is Arthur. He likes parties.

Nathaniel is clutching one of the toys we gave him, an oinking pig--it caused a terrible uproar when he placed it in my pocket without my knowledge and I inadvertently carried it home again--along with the mooing cow--now i have to mail them to him.

Well our family will never forget toasting marshmallows at bbq's the first time we all went to the states. But certainly never seen anyone set fire to them on a cake!! Does it make a mess? Does Arthur eat cake? Yes of course he does. Toys always seem to get left in the wrong place don't they!!

Aiieee to the toys in the wrong place, LOL! :-(

Well, I personally am NOT fond of burned marshmallows, I like mine GENTLY toasted. Not incinerated!
