MORE FUN ON THE SCILLIES

The top one here is me on top of Gweal Hill which was the one the pics were taken of on Themes Blog. I am looking towards our cottage.

Here is yet another view of our wee cottage just to the right of the red buoy. The building along the beach on the right with the blue doors is an artists studio. He has some wonderful pictures of the area. Most of them are brilliant blue. There are fantastic views all over the island with about 5 different hills to climb and views from each one. In that respect it is better than St Agnes which is still my favourite island.

We went to St Mary's the main island in 2004 and loved it. It was May and it was fabulous weather. We went with Eric my ex, his wife and two other friends. We have some other friends who have a timeshare on Tresco where there are lots of timeshares but they prefer Bryher which is quieter and not so commercialised. They found this little cottage last year when it was being converted and booked it straight away and gave us the number. It is very hard to get a week here as most people have the same week for ever until they die. We haven't booked up for next year though as it was rather expensive even though very nice.
