ALEC'S TENNIS LESSON
Alec stuffing his face with a Kit Kat half wy through the lesson.
Alison had a bad neck the other night and asked us to take Alec to his lesson. So I took my camera. But I had to put the ISO up to 1250 as my flash was not good enough to reach. So this was without flash.
Now that is a sore point. I actually put the camera WB on flash as I thought I would be using that but forgot to change it when the flash results didn't turn out. I always use RAW and that is a good opportunity when converting the RAW files to put the WB right. BUT my memory in my head was saying that the colour was correct. I processed all the pics and showed them to Geoff and he said "when are you going to get the WB right?". After feeling all fed up and annoyed I figured I'd better start again with the RAW files and there is a setting in there for TUNGSTEN WB so I put it on that and had to admit they were 100% better. Geoff used to work in colour process in the print so his brain is tuned to spot these things right away.

Possibly it was FLUORESCENT WB and not TUNGSTEN - not sure!
anyway it turned out well. I am not into using raw, I'll get there...
